ethan has earned himself a new wii game.

it has been almost two weeks without him sticking his hand in his pants. amazing. even in his sleep, the hand stays out of the pants. yeah! next we'll have to start working on not sucking on his finger...

the latest thing that ethan likes to do is rhyme. so i will say a word, and he'll say another word that rhymes with it. his current favorite rhyming sound is "h." for instance: chair. "hair!" table. "hable!" sometimes the rhyming game produces some swear words, but i just let it go because he really doesn't know what he's saying sometimes. a lot of the words he says aren't real words anyway.

last week, we were at the playground and ethan and i were playing on the dinosaur/alligator/dragon. that day it was a dragon, so as ethan and i sat on it i sang "puff the magic dragon" to him. since then, we've downloaded it and he and isaiah have really taken to that song. i didn't realize that song had so many verses.

also at the playground....ethan falls off the playscape and gets a bump on his knee. it was a pretty serious bump. eric tells me that after ethan fell, he just started hitting his bump. ethan, are you okay? *smack smack smack* "yeah." and he gets up and starts playing again. such a male.
