we started breakfast around 9 a.m. this morning. rice and eggs. 95% success rate in the boys eating when it's rice and eggs. ethan decided that today he would be part of the remaining 5%.

completely ineffective. he didn't want to eat.

ethan asks, "how many bites?"
twenty-five, i tell him.

he's upset. last night at dinner he only had to eat three more bites to be done.
isaiah finishes his food. xavier finishes his food. owen - amazingly - finishes his food, too. ethan has barely eaten. i'm stuck with the last resort:

one hour and thirty minutes later, ethan and isaiah play the wii. phew!
