ethan's first school field trip was to westview orchards in romeo. it was rainy and cold, but he still had a great time. he got to pick out a pumpkin, have cider and donuts, ride the wagon around the orchard and then watch the machine make cider before his very eyes. we spent a good 20 minutes just watching the apples come into the cider mill and become apple cider. what a fun day!




for halloween, ethan was buddy the t-rex from dinosaur train, a show on pbs. i ended up making the costume only to find out that they had uploaded a pattern to make a buddy the dinosaur costume on the pbskids website. oh well. mine was better. :P after wearing the costume to three different parties, he decided to be diego for halloween day. he liked being diego so much that he wore the costume again the next day! go diego go!
