once ethan shakes off his sleep in the morning, he's this little rocket of energy. sometimes it takes him a little bit of time to wake up, but most days he's sitting straight up in his bed looking for isaiah and owen. he plays hard and crashes hard. he moves so fast sometimes and with som much enthusiasm and excitement that he doesn't think. it would explain why he gets so many bumps on his head and knees. his forehead, by the way, is still referred to as his "bumphead."

in the last month or so, ethan has just become this little chatterbox. we need to work on enunciation, but he's using his words so much...he especially likes to use his words to describe in detail (complete with a re-enactment) of anyone that is hitting or pushing or scratching someone else. even if it's an accident. everything is so black and white to him. i wonder when the gray area starts coming into play.

ethan is my little eater. he'll eat just about anything. he'll even surprise us by asking for broccoli or some other vegetable. i'm just not used to it because isaiah won't touch the stuff unless he's strongly encouraged/forced. :)

potty training is in his immediate future...just as soon as this box of diapers runs out, it's toilet time. i can't wait until we don't have to change his diapers anymore!
