ethan, ethan, ethan.
like i always say, he is very sweet when he wants to be, but he is definitely my little trouble maker. he's quite the talker these days. he talks and talks and talks. he'll try talking to isaiah when isaiah is reading or doing something else. "mom! isaiah's not talking to me!" when isaiah doesn't respond. aiya. he raises his voice a lot, when he's upset - we're working on it. after he gets over it he will proceed into the alphabet...."a b c d e f g, h i j k , eh eh eh o p. q r s eee u eee, lala x y and z!"
you could be so mad at ethan sometimes and he'll come out with..."mom? i love you!" i love you, too, ethan. "no no no! i love YOU!" how can you be mad after that?
when owen was born, isaiah kind of took owen in as "his baby." we told isaiah that the new baby is going to be ethan's baby. so they'll each have their own, i guess. i've been putting some thought into the seating arrangements in the car so that ethan will be by "his baby" but still make it convenient enough for us when buckling them into their seats.
potty training is still in the works. it's a slow but steady process. i have not been so diligent about it, but ethan has been pretty good at jen's house. he's been better too about telling us when he has to go and then actually going.
he's ready to go to school, i think. it's hard to believe that we already have to think about it. there's a picture in our kitchen of isaiah and ethan looking at each other when ethan was just couple weeks old. ethan looks nothing like he did as a baby. i don't know where that baby went!
